Western Cape Auctioneers was founded in 1992 by Chris and Sherril Baard as a family business rooted in ethical, transparent auctioneering. Over three decades the company has grown from a regional operation into a nationally respected firm, conducting thousands of auctions across all major asset classes, including property, commercial, industrial, estate and insolvency. Sherril Baard
CO-FOUNDER & OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Sherril Baard co-founded Western Cape Auctioneers alongside Chris and has been the operational cornerstone of the business since 1992. Her meticulous approach to auction administration, client relations and compliance ensures every sale is conducted to the highest professional and ethical standards, giving clients the confidence they deserve.
