Our history is the footprint of our future. This means that the footprints we leave behind will open doors to our future.

Chris and Sherril Baard started a small and vibrant but yet competitive Auctioneering Business in 1999 in the Northern Suburbs of the Cape Peninsula. Which was suppose to be a small sideline business exploded into a multi million rand business and is still growing with force from day to day.

Determination and hard work paid off and the following year we were busy with furniture auctions nationally for the largest furniture company in South Africa. We have grown from a small sideline business to a well respected and well known business.

As the workload exploded we expanded and appointed more members that was just as passionate about the auction industry as we were.

Through the years we have listened, learned and studied and the outcome is Western Cape Auctioneers, a company with professional service, determination, and a wide knowledge of asset value.
